Today is October 2 2025.  I am on day 4 of working at the High School in a row.  That's nothing to most people but to me, it's a lot.  I am helping out (aka being a placeholder body) for a woman who has needed some time off in the library.  I like being in there but 6 hours is a longer day than I am used to.

Kailey is at MECA&D in Portland and is doing well.  She likes her current classes, has made two friends and is trying new things.  She misses her budgies a lot though.  She has been coming home every other weekend and I go down on the off weekends to take her to the store or to dinner or something so we can hang out and get her away from the dorm for a bit.

Jakob is the same as always.  Fine until he's not fine.  And then impossible.  School wears him out a lot. He gets many headaches. He did get glasses over the summer but does not really wear them much.
